Farmhouse Chic Style

I've always loved farmhouses and recently found myself searching for barns that have been fully restored with modern style and amenities. It's a dream of mine to one day renovate an old secretary barn and create a completely unique space, although I realize this would probably be more difficult than actually building a house from scratch. One of the benefits of living in PA or Ohio is having the best of both worlds by creating a country setting but still being near urban living.

Today, I'm featuring one of my favorite modern farmhouses, and I couldn't help but wonder who the fab lady is who lives there. In my mind, to have such a uniquely designed home, she has to have an equally interesting fashion aesthetic. 

To the right I put together an outfit that would do this sense of style justice: Full Tibi skirts with a white tee and Burberry blazer, rocking an Alexander Wang 'Rockie' bag and strutting in sky high Jeffrey Campbell's. To the bottom, I put together a room fit for the lady of the house, suited to sip tea from her Versace cups in her glamourous modern farmhouse dining room while she slips off her Karen Walker shades. Bonus? You don't need the house to get the look!
